Incollaggio rivestimento alare

OK, ieri è stato fatto il primo incollaggio del rivestimento alare.

Per arrivare a questo importante passo è stato necessario un lungo lavoro di preparazione che ha richiesto, tra le altre cose, una "prova a vuoto" per verificare che quanto pianificato potesse realmente funzionare.

Il lavoro è infatti piuttosto esteso e la resina ha un tempo di lavorazione di 45 minuti; a questo devo aggiungere l' handicap di uno spazio di lavoro veramente ristretto.

Comunque, alla fine, tutto è andato per il verso giusto.

Questa è la procedura da me adottata, sottoposta e validata da Igor, con indicate le quantità di resina necessarie.

- Apply 20gr of clear epoxy on nose and rear auxiliary spars
- Apply 40gr of clear epoxy on bonding areas of plywood skin
- Apply 6x60gr of Mix (epoxy with cottoncab) on main, nose and auxiliary spars and on the ribs
- Lay down skin on structure using some reference point for have a good allignement
- Using clamps and a wooden profile 10x10 apply pressure on nose spar.
- Using foam profiles and tensioners apply pressure in the place of wing ribs.
- Using clamps and a wooden profile 10x10 apply pressure on rear spar
- Using a wooden profile 40x10 apply pressure on the foam profiles in the place of main spar
- Celar the exces of glue on the bottom of the wing

All this with 60% humidity in my workshop and in less than 45 minutes
with one helper.
